'Seashore’ features a woman sitting in shallow waters. The abstracted landscape wraps around her. The free brushstrokes of the background juxtapose the detail in the figure. The mood is relaxed, though perhaps slightly mysterious, and this painting has a dream like quality. In my art I look to capture a memory. The moment, not as it was, but as it was felt.
