'Saturday Swim' with its reflective lapping waters and warm sunshine is a tribute to a long-held Australian tradition. We all come together, like moths to a flame, for connection with nature and each other. Separate entities become one when immersed in the sea. Now in rhythm with a greater force. The gestural strokes that form this coastal landscape reveal the artists' emotional response to the environment, juxtaposed by the finer detail in the figures, a signature of Esplin’s style.
