'The Beach Bay' features two young women lying by a body of water. The abstracted landscape wraps around them. The free brushstrokes of the background juxtapose the detail in the figures. The mood is relaxed, and this painting has a dream like quality. In my art I look to capture a memory. The moment, not as it was, but as it was felt.
